Pear & Chocolate Cake step by step
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Meanwhile, beat the eggs and mix them to the sugar.
- Remove the chocolate from the heat and let it cool down for 5 minutes then add the eggs and sugar mixture.
- Add the flour and pear pieces simultaneously.
- Stir the mixture well to incorporate the pear pieces.
- Butter a cake tin or line it with baking paper, then pour the mixture in.
- Place in the oven (thermostat 6/180°C) for 25 minutes. The cake should stay quite soft on the inside so make sure not to overcook!.
